North Center is located 6 miles northwest of the Loop, and consists of several  neighborhoods: St. Ben's, Roscoe Village and West Lakeview.  Housing varies on the wide tree-lined streets; St. Ben's well-established community is known for its brick two-flats and single-family frame homes.  Roscoe Village has a small town feel with older single-family homes, two and three flats, loft conversions and newer townhomes.
